We are looking for a Technical Procurement Specialis (m/f/d) at our headquarters in Augsburg.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Procurement of welded assemblies based on drawings and technical components
  • Development and implementation of commodity group strategies in collaboration with team leadership and engineering
  • International sourcing, preferably in Eastern Europe
  • Handling inquiries, comparing offers, and negotiating prices with technically specialized suppliers
  • Order processing in the ERP system based on purchase requisitions
  • Monitoring delivery dates and escalation in case of delays
  • Handling complaints in cooperation with quality assurance
  • Supplier development and evaluation, optimization of the supplier portfolio

Your Profile:

  • Technical or commercial vocational training with further qualification in procurement, or a degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of purchasing experience, preferably in mechanical or plant engineering, as well as experience with drawing parts and technical assemblies
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience working with ERP systems; experience with generative AI (LLMs) is a plus
  • Business-fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
  • Solid ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
  • Structured and goal-oriented working style
  • Ability to work under pressure in project-driven environments
  • Openness to digital transformation and AI-supported ways of working
