We are looking for you for the study program Systems Engineering (m/f/d) with our partner Digital & Regional.

Study part-time? That's possible. The Systems Engineering degree program makes studying more flexible than ever. You can study part-time or with in-depth practice on 2 days per week, the other 3 days you spend at our company. Systems Engineering is characterized by a very broad education in the field of engineering. Electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and computer science are among the subjects on the curriculum. If you want to become an interface expert, then this is exactly your course of study!

Before you tell us who you are with your application, let's tell you a little bit about us. Hosokawa Alpine is an internationally active special machine construction company. In our two business areas, mechanical process engineering and film extrusion, we are on a par with other world-class companies. With over 120 years of know-how and excellent expertise, we know how to develop the most efficient and best solutions. With our approximately 800 employees, we rely on resource-saving and sustainable technologies made in Germany and ensure the highest customer satisfaction. Global presence and successful growth combined with a forward-looking mindset, flat hierarchies, short decision-making paths, long-term partnerships and varied tasks in special mechanical engineering - that is Hosokawa Alpine.

What you can expect during your studies?

  • You will work in our company 3 days a week - 2 days a week will be dedicated to your studies.
  • Your studies will provide you with a broad range of knowledge from the engineering sector, but also from IT. This will make you a real all-round talent in the field of corporate interfaces. In today's working world, and especially tomorrow's, you will be indispensable to your company.
  • Our dedicated trainers will help you with all your questions and challenges.
  • Your tasks will depend on your previous education. In any case, you will get to know different areas of the company and thus gain a comprehensive insight into our company.
The part-time program lasts 4.5 years.

What you should bring:

  • Ideally, you have already completed vocational training in the fields of mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science or similar.
  • Alternatively, you have completed your (technical) high school diploma with good grades in technical school subjects such as math, physics and chemistry.
  • You have a keen interest in electronics, information and systems technology topics.
  • You are no stranger to digitalization and Industry 4.0, and you enjoy scientific topics.
  • You enjoy solving complex problems in a team.
  • We operate in an international business environment and you may come across technical drawings and terms in English or you may have to deal with English-speaking customers, so you have a good command of English.
  • You work carefully and responsibly on tasks that are assigned to you.
  • You are ambitious and want to constantly advance yourself and us.

What we offer you:

  • We offer you optimal learning conditions in our modern and well-equipped training center and with our dedicated and qualified instructors.
  • Your training and studies are important, but so is your free time. We have a 35-hour week, so there is enough time for your private life.
  • We are in the metal and electrical collective agreement and offer our dual students an attractive remuneration package.
  • We support you in your exam preparation with preparatory courses, old exams and intensive supervision.
  • Our working atmosphere is impressive; here, people help each other wherever they can.
  • A large team of trainees and dual students makes it easier for you to get started and creates plenty of opportunities for exchange.
  • Your work clothes are provided and washed for you.
  • Our on-site canteen serves seasonal and fresh meals.

And after the studies?

Our students are usually taken on for at least one year after completing their studies. In most cases, however, our students stay with us much longer and we are happy to accompany them through their career.
But the end of the study program is by no means the end of the line - further training is important to us, which is why we have created the Alpine Campus. There you will find qualification measures tailored to your current career level, so that you can always stay up to date.
